This position is the onsite administrator and front-line contact for HR programs with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service in an accurate, professional, and timely manner. This position will provide support for Human Capital Management and Time and Attendance Systems for Eddie Bauer associate population in the U.S., Canada, and Hong Kong. This position is responsible for supporting the administration of the benefit programs, payroll processes, I-9 compliance and hiring process. On a project-by-project basis, this position may be asked to provide support for HR deliverables across any of the HR areas. This position has direct interface with associates, managers and HR team.


  • Direct liaison with associates (in person, telephonic and electronic) to answer questions and resolve issues on HR programs. 
  • Exercise confidentiality when working with employee profiles, relations, and corrective actions.
  • Assist associates with questions by directing the associates to the correct resource.
  • Assist associates with accessing and using HR systems, such as UltiPro, Associate Compass, Wellness Tracking Tool, Dayforce.
  • Daily administration of HCM user accounts, role assignment, and permissions based on defined criteria.
  • Generate and distribute reports from HCM and Time and Attendance Systems to support Eddie Bauer Service Center associate population.
  • First level troubleshooting regarding EBSC Time and Attendance System, including interfaces.
  • Partner with corporate HR Managers and Directors regarding HCM and Time and Attendance Systems. 
  • Assist with the implementation of a new LOA vendor at EBSC.
  • Assist in the interactive process with associates when reviewing restrictions and accommodation requests.
  • Assist with Communications and other forms of employee education.
  • Daily ensure documentation is obtained and timely routed to corporate partners in Benefits, Payroll, Records, and Compensation, such as Benefits Enrollment Forms, Garnishment Notices, Subpoenas, Status Forms, return to work notes and accommodation requests. 
  • Obtain paperwork as requested to support unemployment administration at corporate office. 
  • Perform administrative functions for electronic I-9 system and ensure compliance with timely Form I-9 completion and re-verification of employment authorization.
  • Support the annual open enrollment process.
  • Support administration and tracking of wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Direct short term disability requests, employment verifications, and medical support notices to correct vendor or corporate partner. 
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products for running reports and communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 2 or more years of benefits or HR experience 
  • 2 year automated payroll experience, Ceridian and Dayforce preferred
  • Experience working in a high volume, fast pace environment
  • Knowledge and compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and ERISA, wage and hour, and federal and state labor laws
  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred
