  • Overview

    Purpose:

    Responsible for research, analysis and problem solving leading to the monthly/quarterly forecast.  Additionally responsible for providing support to the Supply Chain teams across all Business Units and to BL Manager.  Generally provide rapid response to the brands on a daily/weekly basis.

    Responsibilities

    Core Accountabilities:

    • Possess a working knowledge of Warehouse Management system.
    • Develop, document and collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Sales, Customer Service Ops, Inbound Delivery, and Finance on the Monthly/Quarterly US forecast for DC Shipments, Receipts and RTS. 
    • Negotiate and resolve conflicting priorities across the PSEB matrix as appropriate.
    • Provide the monthly and weekly flow data for the DC to integrate into their capacity and budgeting for the month/quarter and the full year. 
    • Provide data/reporting for BL Manager for all analysis and trends surrounding delivery planning, including coverage, processing, shipment and reporting for all Business Units.
    • Track progress to monthly targets and address issues which may significantly impact that progress such as:

                                    Factory Related – quality, MSRP, late receipts 

                    Sales/Customer Service Related – call for routing, invalid orders, stop shipments, market cleanup, direct ship diverts

                                    DC Related – VAS, inventory, capacity/excessive SKU’s

    Launch Related

    • Maintain and update daily reports on all the aspects of distribution activity, inclusive of order management reporting and inbound coverage within WM.
    • Create and maintain databases to provide historical and statistical support for current and future reporting.
    • Through the utilization of key PSEB knowledge, strong competency with analytical tools, systems and operational procedures, analyze business requirements through collaboration with Order Management, DC Management, DC Planning, Inventory Management, Finance and Sales to encourage the development of long term solutions to relevant reporting requirements. 
    • Interface closely with DC managers and planners to understand their needs.
    • Facilitate and provide on-going assistance in the issue resolution process.
    • Identify alternative solutions and make recommendations for new reports or improvements to BL Manager.
    • Provide assistance on projects, participate on cross functional project teams, representing US Supply Chain.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience Required:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • 2-3 years experience in a distribution/fulfillment center
    • College degree preferred but not required
    • Prior experience in a highly mechanized distribution/fulfillment environment
    • Prior experience in a fast-paced production environment
    • Knowledge and use of computer controlled conveyor and sorting equipment as well as material handling equipment preferred but not required
    • Good communication skills to convey the appropriate information to the DC, the Brands and the BL Manager.
    • Strong understanding of the Operational aspects of distribution to execute in daily tasks.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with other business units.

     

    Physical Requirements:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

    • Able to stand and walk moderate distances for 8-10 hours continuously on concrete floors
    • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to climb, bend, stretch, talk, hear, push/pull, squat, twist, turn, stoop and use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms to reach above shoulder/head level and/or overhead
    • Able to lift over 25 - 50lbs on a continual basis and display safe working behaviors
    • Able to read, in some cases small print, numbers and letters and identify colors
    • Able to communicate with co-workers and supervisory staff
    • Ability to work on computer for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
    • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to access work station or attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time non-exempt position requiring regular attendance.  As a Brand Liaison Analyst, this role operates in a warehouse environment subject to inside environmental conditions with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes and subject to loud noise due to conveyor systems and material handling equipment and routinely uses standard personal protective equipment
