    The IT Site Manager will report directly to the Sr. Director of Infrastructure and Operations.  The IT Site Manager's role is to ensure the streamlined activity of the IT operations alignment with the business objectives of the DC. This is a hands-on role in areas of developing and maintaining local systems while being a apart of the overall IT organization. The IT Site Manger will work with appropriate teams to plan, coordinate, direct, design and implement IT-related activities of the site location aligned with organizational goals and directives, as well as provide hands-on support. The IT Site Manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for the DC. The IT Site Manager will also define and implement the IT policies, procedures and best practices of PSEB DC. 

    Responsibilities

    • Managing and preforming hands-on local IT activities within the PSEB distribution center to ensure resources, capabilities, capacity, availability and on-site disaster recovery routines to meet business needs. 
    • This is a working manager role overseeing a team of four support engineers it is expected the majority of the IT Site Manager's time is spend developing solutions and providing IT support. 
    • Project Managing in coordination with IT PMO projects specifically related to the Groveport distribution facility. 
    • Coordinating local incident response for infrastructure, application, or security-related outages. 
    • Managing regional vendors. 
    • Budgeting and financial forecasting of DC services. 
    • Building a close relationship with DC management, ensuring DC services are provisioned, operated and supported according to stakeholder expectations and are in line with requirements. 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
    • 3-5 years developer/architecture related work experience 
    • 1-3 years of experience managing standard software such as Microsoft, client platforms, cloud services, servers, network and storage as well as operating systems, virtual environments, AD, DNS, TCP/IP
    • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with strong interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail with timely and accurate execution of deliverable's  
    • Ability to complete assigned projects efficiently with a focus on continuous improvement 
    • Ability to effectively prioritize work and skilled in multi-tasking
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and implement appropriate solutions.
